Questions
Do I need the spreadsheet to use Landlord Tally?
No. You can start from scratch. The import is there so spreadsheet users don't have to type anything twice.
Can tenants pay rent through it?
No, on purpose. Tenants pay you the way they do now; you record the payment in a few taps and send a receipt.
Is it tax advice?
No. The tax summaries group your numbers by the lines on each form so your preparer (or you) can fill it in faster. Depreciation and allowances are not calculated.
What happens if I cancel?
Your account drops to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted; you can still view and export everything.
Is it affiliated with Airbnb or Vrbo?
No. It reads the earnings CSV that those sites let you download. Airbnb and Vrbo are trademarks of their owners.
